Pietro Martellanza
Acting
Italian actor, born in 1938 in the Northern Italian city of Bolzano. The handsome and charismatic Martellanza (often billed as Peter Martell) starred in over 40 films beginning in the 1960s, with his biggest successes in westerns, playing both heroes and villains. It is widely reported that in 1970, Martell was hired as the star of Enzo Barboni’s comedy western Lo chiamavano Trinità (THEY CALL ME TRINITY) but after suffering an injury was replaced by Terence Hill, who rocketed to stardom in the film.
